Has anyone tried LEDs in turn signals?

The best looking lit up turn signal bulb I had was the blue hyper white 1157 bulbs. The problem: The damn blue reflection when they aren't lit up. I tried these silver APC bulbs, but they don't match and they aren't bright enough.

Has anyone tried these out?

Try these:

I had good luck with them in a pathfinder tail housing (used the yellow ones for a turn signal). The only downside really is that they're $75 a pair

But the design with the LEDs facing outward actually helps.

those look pretty good. how well did they compare to the regular bulbs in the daylight?

They were actually pretty good. I think they carried about the same brightness as the stock bulbs. Then again, the reflector for the turn signal on a pathfinder (in the rear) is damn near microscopic, so that might have had something to do with it.
