edison maxima crash

Anybody from the Edison area see the accident on Oaktree yesterday at around 4:30? Some guy in a white 2k2+ was swerving in and out of on coming traffic... almost hit me head on as I was going into a left turn lane but he missed by a few feet. All I saw in my rearview mirror was him sliding all over the road, fishtail, and bump a minivan... then he flew across the street. I went back to check out what happened and I found him parked in a tree with the front of the car completely smashed in. Doors were all dented... I went to see if he was okay, apparently he didn't get hurt but he was cursing on the phone... so I left him alone. Kind of crazy, but he was going about 70-80 in a 40 with major traffic coming in both directions. I'm glad no one was hurt.

Now that **** me off because the cops are never around when people are really Recklously driving. No they rather ticket the person who is going 10-15 miles over the speed limit, but driving definsively and responsibly...

I guess I'm mean...

..but I would have laughed. I see nothing wrong with driving fast, but when you start endangering other drivers you deserve what you get. I hope the people in the mini van are ok.

Did you notice how old he looked? Young kid?

He was older... mid-30s... but he looked like he was ****ed when he was driving... I felt bad too, but the main reason I went back was to find him was because he almost killed me. I wanted to see who he was and give him a piece of my mind, but it looks like the tree that he parked in gave him enough to deal with. I walked up to make sure he was at the very least not hurt and see if the guys in the mini-van needed help (they were okay, btw... no major injuries.. just a little startled by the event). What shocked me was that no one called the police.. so I took the liberty of doing so... making sure I mentioned he was doing 70 and weaving in and out of oncoming traffic. I'm sure some cop who was rolling by would have noticed that he was parked in the entrace way to someone's apartment... but whatever.

Right by the Shoprite on Oaktree... right where Hilltop apartments begin... Oaktree and Dayton Dr. The car was a mess... but I think he did it to himself.

LOL, I used to work in that shopping center - right after it opened. Been years since I was down there.

I imagine traffic is a lot worse than it was then.

I would have kicked him in the face, but first of all I probably wouldn't have turned around. Servers the f***** right when going against the flow of traffic.
