Maxima GLE 2003 hood vibrating
i test drove a just delivered Maxima & the hood vibrated in the wind @ 75MPH - just like my 2003 - there must be some poor design or something ( i really expect Nissan to come with a recal of some sort to fix this manuf. snafu)
anyone else have this problem ?
it really is not the speed travelled, but the wind that gets under the hood & causes the vibrations.
part of the problem was already fixed by the dealer, who installed additional padding under the hood (underside padding was melted onto the underside of the metal skin)

Happened to me also when I first got my 2K2. I thought it was a normal thing for a while because I couldn't even see the hood on my previous car (99 Accord).
Just take it to the dealer and they'll adjust it.
