Pearl96Max alarm install and service
Hi all,
This message is mostly for folks in the NYC, Northern NJ area. i bought my '03 Max on 12/30/02. I had been reading this forum for about a week prior to that and although i had inklings of the prevalence of HID theft, i hadn't realized how out of control it was. i decided that i was going to do everything I could to make my Max less desirable than the next guy's. I had a Maxiguard hoodlock installed and then went in search of a good price on a quality alarm. TimW, Polo and others pointed me toward Don (pearl96max). he's in Northern NJ and he installs alarms professionally. I PM'd him, spoke with him and we settled on a price for a Viper 790 Responder with a prox sensor and remote start. I drove the car out to him and sat in his garage while he installed the alarm system. Well, i just wanted to let all .org members in our area know that you can't go wrong with Don. the price was great. the service was great. He's friendly, efficient and extremely patient with clients who asked foolish and uninformed questions [like me
]. Seriously, I would recommend Don to anyone and everyone who's looking for a good alarm system for their baby. He also installs just about anything that has to do with sound systems. i'll be heading back to him when i go shopping for new speakers.
You owe it to yourself to PM Don at pearl96max to give yourself the best possible basis upon which to make a decision that can cost several hundred dollars for an installation, but significantly more in losses and inconvenience if it isn't done right. You'll get great service and a friendly, knowledgeable person to deal with. feel free to PM me with any specific questions about my experience or my alarm system. I'd be happy to personally point folks in Don's direction. BTW, I don't know where it is, but he has a group deal going, so that's further incentive.
OK, I'm done sounding like an infomercial
i just wanted to do the right thing for a .org member who did the right thing for me. I sleep better with the alarm in my car, and that is priceless.
