Who here has an upgraded fuel pump?

When you take out the fuel pump assembly, its almost impossible to take the pump itself out.

Who here has one installed in there 5th gen? any tips?

my garage stinks like gas now

PM bigdogjonx. He has done it. Also, most of the SC'd and Turbo guys have done it. You might want to check the Boost forum.

sorry for the delay. But you can go here to see how to install the fuel pump. I hope this helps. If you have any questions let me know.
Happy modding!

Thanks LatinMax.

2 questions:

Is there any benefits to doing this for a N/A max?

Do most ppl use the walbro pump along with the OEM pump?

#1 it really only does good on SC,turbo and Nitrous (heavy duty HP applications)
#2 the Walbro replaces the oem pump.
Read the write up and you will see that oit amswers both of your questions.
Are you getting ready to do any performance mods? What are they?

Woosh, ZERO benefit on an NA max. Only get it if you want to go supercharged or turbo. And even with the stillen s/c you get a booster pump that runs inline with the stock pump. Doing the walbro will eminate the need of the additional pump and that "hobbs" switch that activates the booster fuel pump. There have been known issues on that switch.
