is it possible to retrofit a LSD to an auto
just curious. i'm no mechanic so if it's obvious don't flame.
i have a 2k auto and just wondering if there's even an aftermarket for these things. i can light my tires even in the dry with z rated tires.

With TCS, the engine is actually 'retarded' by the sensors until traction is regained (which can be fractions of a second so it seems like there has been no slip).

I have a 2k auto with no traction control system. I dont know much about traction control, and i was wondering if the maxima has a good TCS (i know its different on different cars). I know TCS retards the engine and will stop a wheel from spinning with the brakes, but is this good or bad for performance driving? Is it something i would really want when hitting twistie roads and fast turns or for autocross, etc? How does it affect launching?

I contacted Quaiffe about this a while back and yes they will custom create differentials for us auto owners.
However, they do have minimums (50 IIRC) and last i checked for interested parties i hardly got a handful of people who wanted it.
