Does any1 know were the exact location of the Idle air conrol valve is at on a 5th gen 2k max. damn thing keeps stalling like 3-4 sec after its started. thanx

 

Pulled the code P0505 with the scanner, it said idle air control malfunction. I dont have troubleshooter with 99 up cars so i cant pin point the problem. I would usually go on AllDATA and find this but we updadted to the DVD version last week and i still dont have the correct config code to install the program i checked my code book and all it has to say is IAC ACC valve? that helps me alot.

Perhaps I shouldn't say anything since this experience is from a differenct car. I had an IAC go bad in my Talon. It was a stepper motor that the ECU uses to adjust idle. I suspect this is something similar? I simply used an ohm meter and checked the motor out according to factory specs. It was acutally OK cold but failed at operating temp. It caused low idle, sometimes high idle, stalling, surging.
