my max just received the ultimate respect

I usually take my car to Busy Bee Car wash....mainly becuase whatever detergent they use makes my car shiney as all get out

I also seem to always receive "special" attention to the car

today I went to get my free birthday wash and was actually upgraded two steps....so she was hand waxed today

the car wash faces a busy 6 lane roadway (South Dixie Hwy for those of you familiar with Miami) and traffic was really really thick when I was leaving. I had sat there for about 2 minutes waiting for a break in the traffic when one of the detailers walked into the middle of the road stuck out his hand in the stop motion and brought traffic to a halt

I was then able to safely enter the highway

I still can't believe dude did that...AND that all three southbound lanes came to a complete halt......

max gets mad respect fo sho!!

Yep - the only car a guy is going to do that for would be a McLaren or something. So apparently you're a pretty serious babe?

A McLaren would have NO problems whatsoever pulling out onto a busy highway

it is on pause LOL

I had knee surgery in december so I have been restricted from doing any exercises until the doc says I can (which hopefully will be soon Feb 4)

I never realized how much knees are used when exercising....and since I can't bend my knee the full 90 degrees YET....there are many things that I can't do

fortunatley I can finally bend it enough to get into and out of the car...but I still have to pick up my foot and put it on the pedal cause my muscles are weak AND since they were repositioned...I have to relearn/teach my muscles to work in a new way

but it's all good...especially the itty bitty scar

true...but I wouldn't jump out in Miami traffic where 9 outta 10 cars DON'T have insurance.......

so if the detailing guy wants to walk his butt in front of a car so that I can enter traffic.....more power to him

Sorry to hear. I tore my ACL back in '86 and again in the '90s so I feel your pain. Well, don't push too hard, you can make up for it while in rehab.

Take care.

Just wait for the electrodes. ...and the forced stretching with you on your stomach and them pushing your leg past 90 deg. It'll feel like it's all the way bent, but you're only at 92 deg. Good luck!

I feel for you on the knee surgery. I had both my ACL's replaced in '91 & '92(back to back). Talk about dumb a$$ people not knowing how to play basketball. I guess they forgot that tackling is for football. Anyway, nice car, and good luck on the recovery.
