Dealer wants $195 to change spark plugs??
Dealer wants $195 to change spark plugs??
This sounds way too expensive. Dealer said this includes parts and labor. Is it easy to do myself? Would I need to measure the gap and stuff or is it just take out old ones, put in new ones type of deal?

If you settle on the copper plugs, you have to gap them to .044...
the front 3 are REALLY REALLY easy. just pop open the cover with hex wrench, unscrew the ignition coils and pull the plugs out with a spark plug wrench.
the rear 3, however, are a bit harder, especially if you have a front strut bar. sometimes removing the strut bar helps, although you can change the rear plugs without removing the bar. just take some time and you'll be able to save lots of money.
it's not the easiest spark plug job, but it's no $200 work.
