Check out the Frequently Asked Questions and do a search under "tires" in the 5th Gen forum. You'll find all the information you're looking for.

Before the flames start to fly, I have created a SEARCH FOR 225/50/17 TIRES.

This site has a wealth of information at your fingertips. Use this search tool. It is a feature of this site. Just on this one search, there are 163 threads that contain 225/50/17 tires.

I am still riding on my OEM tires so I can't help you with your question. But you will find plenty of people who have in this search.

Happy reading..

Yes, 215 50 17's will be fine.

As for the rest, as has been indicated, use the search function or spend some time looking at the survery results on TireRack.com

in any event, this has been beaten to death around here...

http://www.carreview.com/tires/Nitto...8_1577crx.aspx

http://forums.maxima.org/search.php

among others...

incidentally you have not supplied enough information as to all weather use, summer use, climate(s), etc.

not to do it again, but you'll have to read for yourself. Read tirerack.com reviews of people who have same/similar car as yours. Search around here for those brands of tire. We have no idea any details of your life... driving style, commute, comfort, climate, etc. Please don't take this as an indication to list those as it makes more sense for you to read about the tires than for all of us to read about you.

Sorry if that's blunt, but tires, oil (and filters), and the non-existent 2k2 turbo are threads that should be automatically locked for anyone under 873 posts
