Greetings fellow Nissan enthusiasts. I own a 91 Nissan 300ZX and someone on our forum mentioned that the 2001 Maxima automatic shifter looked pretty trick and indeed it does. The question is, what is the thread size on it? I would much rather stick with an OEM style part since most auto shifters for the Z look pretty horrific.
This is it:

Any information is appreciated! Thanks in advance...

SeedyRom,
I don't know if anybody can properly answer that since those who have purchased it can not get it to fit on their 2000 model. I don't think there are threads, since the shifter has two set screws on the backside to keep it positioned. I'm speaking only from what I have read thus far.
Your best bet would be to call Dave Burnette at SouthPoint Nissan. He is were we are ordering the shifters from. I am placing an order this week.
Do a search in the 5th gen forum for his name. Give him a call. He's a good guy and will certainly help you out.
