Hey guys, my name is Edward, in Houston. Well, I just traded my 96 SE-R for a 01 white SE auto...(yeah, i know, why auto, parents prefrence, so either get it or not, hehe). Well anyway, those of you who are in SER list should know me too... Well, just want to say Hi to everyone in here...

Well, after 4 years to learn everything how to work on a SER, now, need to start all over again with the MAX, and once again, I am a newbie, and I am sure that, I will need yall advise and help in the future, so wanna say thanks at first...

Here are something that I want to know... after the car break in, I will get the Place Racing Cold-Air, since CAI does ALOT in the SER, and I assume it will do even more in a MAX... Those of you who think its not worth it to enlarge a hole for the piping? YOU ARE WRONG, CAI really helped ALOT, compare to a short ram intake.. especially in TX when temp are way too hot in Summer.... Well anyway, thats the first thing I am gonna get....

But something I need advise now... the Y-pipes! There are two major companies make Y-pipes for the 00MAX... Catterman, and Stillen... According to the list, price are quite different.. $450 Vs. $330.. But what I want to know is, #1) Which one is better? #2) Does is worth to pay Catterman more or not? Cuz if its better and make more power, paying more is not a problem... Thanks guys

Exhasut... with 200SX, the factory catback is a tiny 1.5-2 crush bent exhasut system, thats why I changed to Greddy... But with Max, what is the sizing with the exhasut system.. I saw Courtesy make B-pipe for the 99... Will they fit a 00? and how much different do they make?

Someone told me that the 00 Max muffler is very good, and I dun need to change it but the y-pipes and b-pipe... is it real? I mean, I want it quiet too, so I wonder do i need to change the muffler part or not?

Hey guys, thats it for now.... THANKS alot! Hi to everyone of yall once again! =)

Welcome Edward . . .

I'd suggest you start by peforming some searches. Go to the upper right corner of this page, click on search, put a word in the keyword box that you want information on, then click on the Perform Search button. That will keep you busy for quite a while. A few obvious keywords would be:

Intake
Exhaust
Cattman (not Catterman)
Stillen
Y-pipe
B-pipe
CAI
Muffler

Have fun!
