KYB AGX or GR2?

Which one of the two are better? And which one of the two provide the closest to stock ride?...Planning on getting H&R springs too.

if you don't want to deal with adjusting damping levels, go with the GR-2s..The GR-2s will give you a ride closer to stock shocks than the AGXs...The AGXs are for more serious track/street use than the GR-2s.

i don't think so. the SE stock shocks are made by Tokicos...GR-2s are still firmer and more sport oriented than stock SE shocks.

GR-2s aren't supposed to be real good for lowering. I've had some experience with them and they aren't as good as even the tok blues. I'd go AGX all the way, but it's your dime

What makes this even more confusing is that Tokico makes the OEM shocks for the Maxima, AND they make aftermarket shocks for the Maxima as well. The aftermarket Tokicos are commonly called Tokico "blues" because they are blue all over. The Tokico blues are a bit firmer than stock, so the Tok blues more or less equal the GR-2s.

I went from a Stock 98SE setup to H&Rs and Toks. The ride was more firm than stock. If you want a dramatic increase in frimness, get the KYB AGXs, and you'll get adjustability to boot
