Should i paint splash guards?

I just bought a set of splash guards for my max. I opened them up, and they seem to be universal for all colors - flat black. My car is black anyways, should i get them painted gloss black to match the car more (like the 02-03's), or just put them on and let 'em ride? Thanks

i have a 2k2 and like how they are body colored. maybe hold them up to the paint and see how close of a match it is.

If they are flat black they will be far more prone to the 'chalking' and hazing like certain molding pieces on cars. Will look like crap not too far down the road and will also 'catch' car wax, etc. that all say to not use on flat paint.

I removed mine

I would paint it to body color if you must have them.
