I would personally go with KYB AGX, more expensive, but rock solid and adjustable and that rules. If you just want the basics and cheapness, KYB GR-2s or the Tokicos.

Confused
I too want to lower my car, but have a question. When replacing the springs, do we also replace the shocks or do we replace the struts..or BOTH?
I have searched but am unclear. Can you guys tell me what combos are out there in this format i.e:
Spring: Maxspeed
Strut: KYB
Shock: etc.
Appreciate the help

I personally running stock shocks with H&Rs. No bouncing and the car handles greate. I am not sure what are the good aftermarket shocks for Max. I used to have Tokicos on my 95 Max and they sucked.

iggy where do you want to do the install? Do you know it may run you a good $500? You can get eibachs with your stock shocks/struts, that way you may not have to re-do the alignment.

I might also have him change my plugs.
He said it would take atleast 4-5 hrs to do it.

1. Have you already ordered the Tokicos? If not, look into an adjustable shock. If you HAVE ordered them, PM Newman about the ride. He has/had this setup
2. Have you ridden in a car with Eibach's? Some people like the ride and some do not. If you can, you may want to check out the 'feel' before you do the install.
Good luck. You're going to love getting rid of the floaty stock suspension
