Anything. IT is nothing but a piece of metal that serves it purpose. Some pay more for the Stillen name and look.

yeah...but just LOOK at the Stillen it's so purty.

I didn't like the OEMish look of the ones on Ebay. But yeah, they all do the same thing.

I bought a used Courtesy FSTB off someone on this site from the For Sale section for a good price. To tell you the truth, I felt very very very nominal handling improvements with it on. I only felt a major difference in handling once I put on my Addco RSB.

FSTB

I have the Courtesy FSTB. My only complaint about the bar is having a flex point at strut tower plates just weakens its ability to function. The bars I've seen for other cars are one piece affairs and this makes more sense.

The Courtesy FSTB uses bolts to attach the bar to the strut tower mounting plates. When trying to remove the bar these bolts froze and consequently snapped when I tried to remove them. I replaced them with SS ones but even those froze so perhaps it is something about the way I put them on that makes them freeze.

One point in favor of the Courtesy bar is that the mounting plates are black and the bar has no distinguishing marks (although Courtesy's website shows them with a Courtesy logo, mine did not have one). This doesn't call any attention to the bar and it is one less thing I have to worry about Nissan wondering about (at least they have not commented yet).

I have not looked closely at all the other available bars but the ones I have seen all have the same design flaw. So from my perspective, you might as well go for the cheapest. The impact of this bar is small so it is really questionable to spend a lot of money on this mod. Just my $.02. Hope this helps.

First off, the plates on my Courtesy FSTB are red, as are most of them. Secondly, Nissan can't say anything about a FSTB or RSB if you bring your car into them for service, etc. These two items don't have any negative effects on anything on your car. They improve handling and that's it. Whereas with an intake people have had problems with them blowing MAFs, etc. For that or anything else that has anything to do with your car's engine they can complain about or throw out your warranty. When have you ever heard about someone getting sh*t from their dealer for having either a FSTB or RSB on their car?

I bought a BOMZ off of ebay for $12 and ended up paying 25 with shipping and handling, not the coolest looking one but definitely the best priced one and it works just the same.

I'm thinking about getting the Cattman RSB. Check out the Group Deals section. Cattman is having a deal throughout the month of February for $110 shipped! That is a d@mn good price.
