Where can i get sub level or volume control??
guys, my friend has installed an amp on his headunit with preamp outputs BUT NO SUB CONTROL, so they volume of the woofer is really quiet. A guy told me i can get him a sub level or volume control. anyone know where i can get one?

You just can't adjust you're gain? I know radioshack has a volume control for 8ohm home speakers, it about $14. Don't know if they make a lower ohm model though.

There could be a million things wrong. Check the gain levels on the amp. If that doesn't help, take it to a stereo shop.
I believe that what you are looking for is something like this: remote bass controller Now, this might not work for your specific application, since you might not have a PG amp, but you could probably search for something similar for your amp if it is in fact what you are looking for. You might also want to try Best Buy, or some stereo shop in your area.
Your friend is in a tough spot. Some amps have gain adjustment via LPL like the link above. Typically, you have to buy the model which supports it (Phoenix, MTX, Kicker or Infinity). Others have SUB out on their head unit where the gain can be adjusted from within the head unit (Kenwood, Alpine, etc).
