Maxima HID on 02-03 altima

my friend just wrecked his 2002 nissan maxima and is taking it to the junkyard. He said i can take whatever i want from the car. I was wondering if the Maxima HID will fit in a 02 Altima (thats what i drive). and what would i have to take? does anyone have pics?

just take the bulbs and ballast from the lights, those should fit in your car...get his bose system, rip the rear view mirror off, get the gauge cluster, I would go for the leather seats, too...You can sell any part on that car for a pretty penny

You're on here asking about HID's and what to remove (with pics). You say you drive an Altima but it says you drive a Maxima in your profile. You're also stating that your friends Max is totaled but the headlights are not damaged, granted its possible if he was T-boned or rear-ended but not typical of a totaled car. I apologize for my suspiciousness if you are sincere, but things look kind of strange as it currently stands and we can never be too careful with all of the HID theft going on.

SL is a trim for Altimas (S, SL, or SE). they dont have GXE/GLE anymore. Polished Pewter is a color available on the Altima. when you set up your profile you dont have the option of putting "Altima" as your car. it says everyone has a maxima. if you notice many people on the .org with I30s and I35s their profiles also say something like "Maxima T" (for i30T) or "Maxima I30"

i drive a nissan altima. if you go to www.altimas.net registry and look under 2.5S for 2002 nissan altima look into Stav|os you will see my car.

the car was making a ridght turn thru an intersection, car ran a red light, nailed the back by the wheel, ****ed up the whole side and he turned 180 degrees and hit aq ford ranger. the axle on the lright side is ****ed up his whole wheel was off.... i am not a shallow person i do not steal. i read avbout the stealing HID on all the maximas and i feel bad. this was a just an experiment i wanted to do with HID conversion, it could save me 400+ dollars.

Then yes, it could be done It will take some wiring effort, but it could be done.

and most likely a flat head screwdriver so you can push down the metal tabs on the bulbs to make it fit your headlights

i think it shouldn't be that hard to change the bulbs because the 2k3 altimas come with HID's now, and i assume they are the same ones on the max..
