stillen say 2k2 headers will......

be ready in 60 days(yeah right) and will yeild 35 horse and 40 torque. This is a quote from dean. If this is true im in, in for 1st and second gear spin. I asked him about the ses issue and he said that there will be a bung or some sort of device so as not to throw a check engine light. Price was as previously stated: $550 approx.

Have they dynoed a prototype to get those numbers or are they guestimating? Either way, they will find their way onto my max.

I recall reading 1st and 2nd gen altima owners complaining about hot shot headers. They seem to have cracked on them a lot.. None the less the price is good and they dynoed well, so..

Ethan,

Hot Shot makes GREAT products. I know the Sentra guys swear by them and those guys are friggen mod crazy. They may have had problems with the Altima headers, but HotShot is well known for their willingness to redesign(Sentra is on 5th gen header) for better performance and easy of install.

Too bad you don't live close to Cali.

I am one of the crazy sentra guys , and yes the quality of the header on the SE-Rs is great. If HS makes headers for the 02+ max, they will out perform $tillen and be way cheaper!

I have a Sentra also, however it's not modified(anymore).

I just love keeping up on what's the latest and greatest mod they come up with.

I can't wait for the engine to die, so I can drop in a SR20 and a F-max turbo kit.

I hear that. Would be a pretty nasty ride. I'm considering buying a '93 240SX and doing the conversion myself (SR20DET "Black"). Dunno what kind of tranny I'm going to run yet. Any off topic advice for that (tranny)?

Might be waiting a long time for the motor to die, the SR20 is bulletproof! Whats nice is that you can go DET, or VE (mmm 200 NA WHP)

For now I'm happy with my 155 WHP 2200 lb racecar!

GA16DE w/140K miles.

It pings like a son-of-a-*****, but works just fine for "putting" around town.

I love the go-kart feel of it compared to my fat-**** Max.
