$300 what to do
alright, i just got $300 as a gift to spend on my car and i'm wondering what to do...first i was thinking about the carbon fiber door pillars for $60...but then i started leaning towards speed...i then read a post on the RSB that made me want that but i'm thinking about a y-pipe...maybe i should go w/ the new kamakaze body kit...the only time my dad has ever driven my car he took it to the body shop after i had been hit and he backed into a fence...a couple of minor scratches on the back bumper and they have been assessed for $520...i told him it would just be cheaper to buy me the rear section of a body kit so he said he will most likely just do that...so now i'm left w/ buying the front and sides...anyone know the price breakdown on the new spoilersetc. kamakazee body kit? i heard $695 total. so anyways, back to the money...what should i get? i suppose i can add in a little of my own money and get something a little more expensive...i want something that i will notice...i was also thinking about tokico blue shocks. help me out here...checkout my webpage for mods...i'll update my sig sometime soon so it will have my mods on it but for now, webpage will have to do
$300 bucks and you want to notice it, right? RSB/FSTB or struts/shocks would be nice choices. Y pipe be over the limit... kit would go way over because you have to paint and install.
My recommendation... RSB/FSTB.

well as i said i can just put some of my own money in...on the kit, the rear is paid for including paint so figure the front and sides are probably ~$400-500...i guess i can count that out for now...i can get a rsb for about 230 from stillen and a fstb for about 170 from stillen or 80 from courtesy...any idea where i can find them cheaper? i was thinking of going to those...do you think i should go w/ rsb + fstb or tokico blues first...assuming i have enough for either...and why did you rule out the y-pipe?
o yeah, and even though i have said that i don't want to do another intake...i'm actually seriously considering a cai...anyone know the dyno's on a stock max auto + place racing cai??
kev, how tough was the install...did you have to drill for the install (can't tell from the page but it looks like it)...i am not sure whether or not to trust myself w/ the install...i have done a few things to my car so far but i don't know if i can handle a cai...any idea on install prices?...any chance of this intake screwing up like my last one? if you don't know what i'm talking about let me know and i'll post about it tomorrow...but right now i need sleep

Email Got Rice? (Phuong) for some cheaper prices. I would personally go with the RSB/FSTB combo because I feel the stock struts/shocks will still hold up. My stock struts/shocks still felt great before the Blues went on.
I ruled out the y-pipe because it's over $300. But if I could do my mods over again, I'd do suspension over performace first. I didn't feel too much after the y was installed, but I felt quite a difference after the FSTB/RSB install.
