gauge question/He;p

Hi All, quick question, when I was installing my CF brezel today, I accidently moved the needle on the gas gauge, I tried to moved it back to where I remember it was.. but will that do any harm to it? or any side effect?

Thanks

no the car is not on. The whole gauage was off the car.. I noticed that the temp needle will go down if you touch it.. but the oil/gas needle doesn't... I guess the main concern was that will I have an inaccurate reading on the oil/gas needle? don't want to run out the gas in the cold MI...

thanks

if you are worried maybe you can just fill up your whole tank and move it all the way up?

That's only if it is inaccurate obviously but I think you're fine.

When I put mine in I moved all the needles at one point or another, they just all fell back to the stopper on thier own though.

only the speed, tech and temp does that.. the gas/oil needle does not.
