Wind Noise

I realize there is a TSB for this issue. I have had the TSB's done for tranny and rotors. I want to ask those that have had the wind noise TSB done if it was a success. I don't have much of a problem with it at low speeds, but when I get on the expressway it is terrible on the rear windows. Thanks

I had it done on my 2k1 AE. There is a noticable difference in the amount of wind noise. IMO, it is worth the time.

Had it done last month. The left side is quiet, but the right is like they didn't bother. The next oil change I'll have them redo the right side.

you can do it

Go to the TSB sticky - somewhere there is a link to the actual TSB.

It is a simple repair. In fact, I think I recall someone posting they did it themselves along with some of the rattle fixes.

I had it done after much complaining to the service people. It was in for the brake TSB so it was not extra trouble for them. It does make a big difference, but the car will never be really wind noise free. The rear window noise was just hiding other wind noise form the design of the car. It is better though. Definitely have it done.
