What is wrong with my bose speaker?

My front passenger side bose speaker is starting to rattle. It only does it on base, so now I have to have the base really low. Is it blown? How much would it cost to get a new bose speaker? Thanks

Bose Problem

First, remove speaker from door. Notice the wizzer cone. Continue to be dissapionted. Set speaker on ground. Urinate on said speaker. Feel a bit better. Go to www.phdusa.net. I heard a set (front and rears) in a GS300 and they were awsome. I will have mine soon!

ummm, my 2K max bose door speaker doesn't use whizzer cones. Actually the door drivers arent half bad and are not paper. I have that noise too, put a small book in that pocket and see if the noise goes away. I popped the snaps on the door (looked inside made sure surround wasnt torn on speaker) and when I snapped all back together, that door buzz was gone. (for now )

Oh, so it may not be the speaker? What else could I do to stop it instead of a book? Just because having a big book there may look sorda stupid, lol.

I was kidding I opted for the mid level stereo. Due to my love to tinker with different set-ups for sound. Sorry I couldn't help. I still recommend the speakers though!

the courtesy light can rattle. Just a small paperback book or a rolled up newspaper. I dont mean that as a permanent fix, just to see if thats the source of the rattle, the door panel/pocket itself.

Alright, thanks. I'll check it. One other question. How do I change the bulbs to the lights in the front sides? The side reflector lights? Where do I get the bulbs too? Thanks

i think my door speakers rattle too but my subs usually drown out the rattle so nobody hears it except me when i put my ear to the door.
