Problems findin original lamps

I live in the nyc area and seem to be having a problem with aftermarket dealers (expected)but wut was a surprise was that my dealer orders a replacement lamp.I get the same nasty icandescent lamp the autoparts store had.
Anyone got ideas on wwhere I can order these?

P.S.

If you want OEM / factory bulbs, see David Burnette. You can do a search.

Allan,
Dave Burnette is a member here (DAVEB, not DaveB), and he's a parts manager for a Nissan dealership (Town North Nissan I think). Anyways, he hooks us .org'ers up with discounts on OEM parts, so he'd be your best bet. Just hit him up on a PM, or email, and I'm sure he'll help you out.

Good luck.

Actually they are the same user name you listed. The difference is Dave Burnette is DaveB as opposed to another .org member Dave B (notice the space).

In any event, he is a great guy to work with. 1/800-251-7278

You can always count on jjs to have a sharp eye for silly mistakes! In any case, the point got across.

No, not really. I just have used Dave's knowledge so often and look for his comments frequently so that username just pop's out of pretty much any post. That and I recall reading somewhere in a different thread that Dave B is really getting ****ed getting e-mails etc. about parts.

Right, he even has it in his signature saying he's NOT the parts guy!

Anyway, it's all good! DAVEB is the guy, not "Dave B".
