Whelen is what more than 75% of the police, fire and EMS departments use on their vehicles in the United States. They have very high quality products at good prices with the most variety and options. Sho-Me is a budgeted version of Whelen. They make similar items that have cheaper prices because the products aren't built as well. Basically the same thing as Whelen hide-a-ways except with different flash patterns. You actually will find that Sho-Me strobe kits are more expensive than Whelen ones. I have never even heard of Xpac strobes, so i'm assuming they are similar to PepBoy ghetto strobes. Check out my thread in the General For Sale forum.

Hey there, visit my website @ http://www.kdlighting.com/kits_strobes.php.

There are a few kits to choose from. The most popular kit is the S690CCCC, 90-watt strobe kit w/4 clear bulbs. This installation requires some electrical knowledge, but not that much. You need to be able to wire up switches to control the power supplies, but that's about it. The rest is drilling 1" holes, and running the strobe cables throughout your car. If you have more Q's email me!

On 2000-2001's they can be installed in the turn signals, headlights, and rear assemblies. I have never tried installing them in the foglights, but it might be possible. If you have anymore questions, email me at kirk@kdlighting.com!
