They make no noise whatsoever. They also coat the windshield so rain beads up and rolls off. Its very similiar to Rain-X. They last like 3-4x longer than regular rubber blades. Like I said before, I have no complaints with them at all.

cool little FYI...the piaa blade refills are exact fits on the OEM slots, so no need to buy the whole PIAA kit.

oh my GOD the same damn thing happened to me a week ago!! It rains here 2 days a damn year, and I go out to my car and notice one of the wiper sticking up in the air with no blade on it! Worst part is, checker doesn't sell the 26th inch blade so I had to get a 24, and I had taken alot of money out of my checking account leaving almost none, so I asked them if they could debit it out of my savings, and they said yes, and then the next day I went to Wells Fargo and they told me I had -$30 in my account because the dumba$$ at checker didn't do the savings account!!

I hate punks that steal stupid petty stuff off the car.

I got new tires and discount tire gave me brand new SS valve caps. The next day they were gone.

Stupid punks!

sorry for the second post in the same thread, but something's wrong... this thread says PIAA replacement blades will fit in OEM wipers... THAT ROCKS because this site sells replacement blades for $18 (that was a quick search... I'm sure I'll find cheaper when I search more) instead of $46 for the whole kit.

BUT... there are a few threads around here (this is one) saying the driver's wiper is 26", but PIAA's website says it's 24"...

WHICH??? (please ) thanks corelventura and polo for finding and relaying this info.

only cause i love you guys, i went and measured it (ironically, it's raining)...and it's measured at 25.5", so the 24" would be too small, making the 26" the correct fit.

$14 + $8 shipping at this site for the pair

That's pathetic. Too bad you didn't catch him/them. I can picture the newpaper article now - 'Local pathetic thief rushed to emergency to have wiper surgically removed from his ***.' At least they didn't steal the car.

Just got my PIAA wipers in and they are not the same size as oem. The PIAA are wider and longer than oem. I'd def. recommend the PIAA to anyone looking, got tired of dropping 20 bucks every six months at the dealer for replacements cause no parts stores had anything up to 26".

Badabing is confused....

First of all, sorry for bringing this thread back to the top but I'd like to get some defitive input from you guys.

Anybody else out east sick of the damn weather? It's always raining, snowing or just plain wet! Total crap!

That in mind, I need to get my paws on these PIAA wipers. So....do I NEED to buy the wipers (2k3 Max) or can I get away with the wiper blades alone? Also, if I can just order the blades, what size am I looking to get and where can I purchase from a reliable retailer (online or otherwise)?

Thanks in advance guys.

This post says PIAA wipers are not the same as OEM. So does that mean the blades fit in the OEM wipers?

If you are talking about the blade refills, just the rubber parts...

Thing is alot of people do seem to use the term 'blades' to refer to both the whole blade assembly as well as just refills.
