Over the past week, I had a custom 2.25 b pipe made and I was also able to have the timing advanced. Luckily I have a local nissan specific shop that was able to purchase the consult through nissan. I was able to advance it to 18, well it actually flickered back and forth between 17 and 18. While it was hooked up, I bumped the base idle between 38 and 50rpms. It made taking off the line much smoother and I could defintely feel the difference with the timing. I am going back in a week or so to make sure that it stuck. But then last night, I let my ex-girlfriend drive my car. I asked her to back off the car in front of her so she could see the potholes on this particular road. Right after I said it, she drove right into about a 5 inch pothole and pop went the tire. I dont know the condition of the rim as of yet, but I ordered a replacement A/S for 250 mounted and balanced. I know its a bit on the high side but I want to get it mounted ASAP. Most everyone around me said they were on back order for a month but luckily I found a place that will have it by Tuesday. Anyways, I wanted to give a heads up that the timing is noticeable and the b pipe w/o a resonator on a stock muffler is the perfect sound I was going for. Also got the 350Z dead pedal put in and it adds a nice touch.

actually im working on getting some video right now. it does sound different to me, a tad deeper than before. ill post it up compared to the stock sound and let you be the judge. maybe it sounds different cause the only other thing stock in the exhaust is the cat.
