A/C Imitates crickets
I've got an 01 Max GLE - 6K miles - and the AC unit randomly makes a cricket-like noise. It can even be heard over the sound system. This has been occuring for two months now. The only time it doesn't make the noise is when I drive into a Nissan Dealership lot (I've tried to bring it in for service 4 times now.) It almost sounds like a brake pad squeal, but it definitely stops when the AC is turned off... Is this the same problem in the non-climate controlled units on settings 2 and 3?
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so is there a part that I could request Nissan to replace

I've got probably what is referred to as the 2 and 3 speed noise on my GXE. I'm actually waiting on max2001se to let us know how the free oil change went at the dealer and what they said about the noise. See thread https://maxima.org/forums/showthread...threadid=16771
This is apparently different to the speed 1 noise that is caused by the fan blades hitting the casing around it, that I read somewhere on here.
