What is the smallest rim I can run on my max?

I know it is a strange question but I really need to know the smallest rim size that will fit over the Calipers. I am hoping to get a set of 15"s to auto-X on. Due to the fact that race tires for 15s are really cheap. I would really like a set of steel rims but i don't think that there are any with enough offset to clear.
Thanks in advance for any help.

my friend had a 2001 and bought 15" steelies for winter wheels. He sold the car and I bought them off him. They definitely did not fit on a 2002, but they fit on his 2001 just fine.

I wasn't aware that Nissan changed the brakes on the 02-03s interesting. You would't happen to know the offset and width of the rim would you?

BLUbyU2K2 has a set of 15 inch rims with slicks he uses at the track. he said they barely fit over the calipers but they do in fact fit.

I was told they "could fit" but the guy at tirerack said something about spacers or something and I wasn't too keen on the idea, so I sold them and bought 16" instead.

Regime, the calipers are bigger on the 2k2. Nissan said something about changing them because of the bigger engine.

If all this is vague, it's because I blew $300 on steelies and blizzaks that I ended up selling for a loss, and I was ****ed and stopped paying attention once I heard the words "15 inch wheels won't fit" from the Nissan tech.

you have a 2k1. as said earlier in the thread, the break calipers are larger on the 2k2s than they were on the 2k1s.

I have an 02 and have 15's i use at the track. They are tsw revos 15x7 but the sad thing is I don't remeber the offset. I know there is not even 1/8" between the inner wheel and brake caliper. Im sure the offset is around +42 but not to sure.
