Just the front brakes? or the rear as well. Yeah u can spray some disk brake quiet on the back of the pads to reduce noise. Permatex makes it if I remember correctly, u should find it at an autozone or a checker but I dont remember the cost. That stuff is extremly sticky so get ready to be anoyed. Ill PM u a How to later. Btw if u did get the rears as well please just get it installed professionally because the caliper are the type the u have to turn while u compress them, so u need a special tool which im sure u dont have.

Nice write up and pictures on www.motorvate.ca for fronts. Once you do the fronts you'll have no problem with rears. Need tool to rotate rear caliper while pushing caliper back in. If you feel lucky you can try to do it with needle nose pliers. Tool is called Disk Brake Piston Remover. Many parts stores will loan it to you. I have never sprayed pads for squealing but I use synthetic high temp brake grease on clips and CRC Anti Squeal Compound on back of pads and shims. Hope this helps!

lug nuts 80 ft lbs
pin bolts F & R 16 - 23 ft lbs (little bolts)
Torque member fixing bolts F 53 - 72 (big bolts)
Torque member fixing bolts R 28 - 38 (big bolts)

You'll need a C clamp to push the front calipers pistons back in.
While you're at the part store get the Haynes Manual, only $15. I use CRC aerosol Brake Cleaner to clean up the caliper, get 3 cans. Again I don't spray anything on the pads, I just use Synthetic grease and CRC Anti Squeal Compound. Have fun.

Hey I was just wondering, are u a tech or just very informed? Im not trying to insult u in anyway. Just the way u answered those questions is the way a professional mechanic would. If u are a tech I got a question about a new Snap-on tool im just tryin to get a bit more info on.
