cattman headers 3.0 L
I became sick of waiting for headers for our 3.0L maximas, wasnt stillen supposed to be doing something abou that? I decided to email Brian at cattman asking whats going on with this. He replied that they are in pogress and should be out in 2 months. The only step left for them is to build sensors for 99-01 for emissions. Brian was nice enough to send me dyno results of a 5th gen maxima with the cattman headers, if anyone is interested in seeing it just send me a private email at
havinilluzionz@aol.com and I will forward it to you
finally some of us autos could possibly break 15'sin the 1/4mile

i don't know all that much about it, but don't the headers connect to the y-pipe, so wouldn't they add extra power in addition to the y-pipe?

Okay, Brian posted his numbers a few months ago here on the site, also, you should know what headers mean. The Y-pipe is what you'd call a Head pipe on any other car. Headers go all the way back to the cat, hence it being a combination of the "Y" and the actual pipes connected to the engine. It has better gains than the Y alone but costs a ton more to install and the gains are minimal over the Y. Also, it's not stainless steel, it's mild steel. Take what you want from it, but that's the real word.
