Show Me Pics of Wood Trim Kit in Black Interior

Before anyone says anything, I used search but couldn't find much. I prefer wood to metal trim, and I'd love to see what people have done. Also, if you could mention which kit you installed and how you like it, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

i have the factory wood trim kit. although i think that simply means it's the wood kit from the people that my local dealer works with. i don't know who makes the kit but i'll take some pics and post them on sunday.

pmas 76,

Thanks for the link; your car looks great. Great comments about the installation, by the way.

rocktboy,

I look forward to your photos.

Thanks,

Mike

Pmas has real wood.

I'm actually considering doing custom coating from wooddash.com. It's synthetic, obviously, but I think it would look better because it's not just a sticker, but a coating. No edges or seams. Just an idea for ya.

Worked for me.

Also, I like the look of that brushed aluminum a lot better.

VERY interesting. Any idea on cost? I really like the black brushed aluminum.

I haven't called them yet. I'm sure it's not cheap though; give 'em a call and find out. I probably won't be doing it till summer (if I do it), cuz right now I'm working on piecing together my car stereo and a few performance mods before I do the dash. I like the black brushed aluminum too; but since the rest of the car already has the standard aluminum accents, I'll stick with that.

here it is....
http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...page_id=315465

it's hard to take wood trim pics as the surface reflect light in a weird way. but i hope the pics help you decide if you like wood with black leather seats. most of my friends like it, but i think it's overdone. if i can start over i would only use 5 wood pieces:
1. center lower console near shifter
2. front left door panel
3. front right door panel
4. rear left door panel
5. rear right door panel

the look would be very classy with only those 5 pieces.
