SES on AGAIN -- do coils fail often?
SES on AGAIN -- do coils fail often?
My 2K0 GLE's SES light came on again today during a rough idle at start
I had coil #5 replaced due to a P0305 just a week and a half ago after having owned the car for less than two weeks!
I love how the Maxima drives but man, is it going to be the most unreliable car i've ever owned?
I'm guessing the rough idle will give me a P03XX code again. I am going to buy myself a scan tool so I know whats wrong with it before I take it in for service.
What, other than bad coils, can cause a rough idle followed by a SES light?
Will I need all my coils replaced? I'm at 70K miles. What else should I have replaced/serviced at 60+K miles to avoid more unscheduled maintenance?
