The transparent kind.
I bought some PIAA ION yellow fogs light bulbs.

yellow spray?

i'm just tuning in... what kind of spray? on the inside of the fog lenses? going for a similar look with mine (piaa headlight bulbs are in the mail), wasn't sure if that was possible, or if i needed to hunt down yellow-ed fog bulbs.

thanx,

brian

not really.
The mavica i have sux at night.

The way the setup is
the light patern in front is plasma look
the middle part is yellow
for some reason the polarg hyperwhite signals give the foglights an extra amount of light.
It looks so nice!

The paint is from http://www.autodynamic.com. I only used one coat of paint. As you can see this stuff can get really yellow. I'm using some hyperwhite bulbs and my "light" is a moderate yellow which is very apparent while driving. I love it, but I really love the look during the day time.

Hey that looks nice. Did you paint on the inside or outside of the lenses?

The outside of the lense is painted. The paint is made to adhere to glass. I have had absolutely no problems. I've got my rear tails smoked with the same make of paint. I've never had it chip, scratch, discolor,..nothing.

Hey Yongjun, that looks really sweet. I am thinking about doing the same thing to my 4th gen. I will probably start with the PIAA IonCrystal's, and then see about painting the lenses. Could you post some pics of the front of the car during the day, and at night at an angle, so as to reduce the glare and see more of the light color? Just a though.
Thanx-DAN

Okay...

I was on autodynamic.com today, and they have smoke lens paint and also smoke lens paint FILM. It looks like the film peels off, but if anyone could clarify the difference I would appreciate it. I have a completely stock 96 GLE and I don't really like the contrast of the dark colored body with the bright red of the lens. My car is the dark metallic green, and 95% of the people who see it thinks it's black. I'm not familiar with the tail paint, so details would be nice. Does it cut down on light output from brake lights? Will they still be "glossy" or are they going to have a matte finish after painting? ANYTHING?? Thanks in advance.
