removing steering stops update?

removing steering stops update?
Anybody who has removed the steering stops under their 2k2, notice any adverse effects so far? Anybody heard any legit professional opinion? This is an old topic but I have yet to find any updates..

bump..my stops are still on....and im wondering if anyones busted anything yet.
