Want to chrome my OEM rims .. best price in Chicagoland?

Is it safe/reliable to chrome my existing rims w/ this powder coating technique?

Anyone in the Illinois/chicago area get this done and happy w/ it?
About how much should i pay per rim

Interesting.

I would like to find out the cost of the 'plating' process on my own wheels rather than having 'new' wheels rolled up into the cost.

Maybe if you chrome the Potenzas they'll have better traction. They can't get worse, can they???

Good point! Even locomotives get traction with just metal. Hmmm...RE-92s REALLY suck!!

Hey I'm not in the ill/chi area but .maybe you can try your nissan dealer.I', im SC and the dealer here sends them out to colorado to have them chromed.I have a set on my 02 se, paid $850 and that was with trading mine in but hey i wanted it.Also try www.4chromewheels.com.I'ts a factory chrome wheel exchange programe.It will work out to about the same price after shipping .Good luck deciding

Someone quoted me $150.00 per wheel, it'll take a week to do, it's a guy in chicago burbs...

I saw those rims on ebay -- those would look very nice on my grey lustre when it's shined up.

Friend of mine's buddy does it at his bodyshop .. powder coated chroming process.. pretty flawless as far as I can tell
