DVD/TV on your stock Nav? Maybe... (Again)
I'm not sure what happened the first time, but for some reason the text wouldn't show the first time I posted this. I can't even get into that message to delete it. Anyway, I saved what I wrote earlier, and so here it is again:
Well, I know some of you with the OEM Navigation system would love to be able to use the screen to hook up another video source (video game system, DVD player, TV tuner, etc.). I believe some people have found a way, without paying big $ to someone like the nav-tv.com people.
There is a guy over at FreshAlloy who managed to get this to work in his G35, and the only reason I think it might work for Maximas, is because he got the idea from Acura-TL.com and adapted it to his car!
I've read through it, and it seems logical enough, so if someone had the knowhow, courage, and necessary wiring diagrams and schematics, it looks like it can be done relatively affordably.
Take a look at the thread at FreshAlloy here:

And be sure to look at the links at the bottom to the thread at Acura-TL.com and the TL guy's homepage.
