ohhh my god... what a car... it pulls like a train, , corners great, rides smooth and the throttle responce is SHARP. i will be getting a black or red one next week.. i will still have the max for a few months though since trade in is so awful so im just gonna sell it private.. if anyone wants some parts throw me an email

Ok seems ur box is full Anyway this saturday we're gonna have a meet 10-15 are expected to show up, its at the NE corner of Scottsdale & Cactus at the park. sorry cant make the meet... i have to work my store this sat.. oh i have traffic school next week and the cop lied to the judge in traffic court on wed so i had to pay a 130 dollar fine.. at least its over with... ps no one take the 101 for the next 2 weeks... ******* scottsdale pd is out in full force..

Yeah no ****, damn 5oh is all over the place. They're having some kinda crackdown on speeders and pullin over any1 goin like 1 over and causing a sh!tload of traffic to get backed up. Well I cant say im surprized about the cop, sucks about the fine but like u said atleast its over with. Whenever u start to part out ur ride let me know cuz I might be able to find a buyer near by, got a few more people on the org around here then we used to.

Oh and limsandy I think he sold the body kit a while ago, im sure hes still got the injen though.

I test drove a G35 Coupe Auto and while it definately handled better than my 2k2 Max, I didn't feel it was any faster. Nice ride though.

 

That was an auto though. I am sure you know, but a 6speed is going to pull a lot harder.

 

Agreed. But at the end of the day, it's the same engine (tuned for more HP) and the same 6-speed that I have in the Max. I believe that the G35 Coupe and the 350Z should be below 5 secs from 0-60 to be
truly considered a sports car and be worth the $$$$ they are getting. Don't get me wrong, I love th g35 and the 350z, but would hope that they would turbocharge them and get them in them below 5 secs.

 

If i remember correctly, the gear ratio's are different on the Z/G35 compared to the Max.

Additionally, it doesn't usually mean that cars going sub-6's in a drag means it's a true sports car.

An F150 does mid-5's 0-60 but it's a truck, while an older Porshe could do only high-6's but is still a true sports car in every sense of the word.

 

Yeah, they have a very useful close ratio 6 speed in the manual versions...5th gear being 1:1
