HID Anti-theft bolts on eBay - pffft!!

Just thought I'd pass this along...

Apparently replacing your bolts with these will prevent your lights from getting ripped off! Yeah right....

Apparently this guy hasn't had his taken yet. I think someone needs to teach him a lesson...heh.

omg........

he seems to have the idea that the thieves are nice and pop your hood and unscrew the bolts...and buff out any scratches they might leave in the process...

in the beginning, they were after a clean/unbroken set.. thats were my bolts came in last year. Then 2k owners were paying $1000 for the conversion, there was a market for housings *with* tabs. Some of the lastest theft is just for the ballast and burners, so bolts dont help much there.

if only max owners could protect their lights by having the HIDS fit with bullets that automatically fire when they are being stolen of course the casing would open and close when needed

Antitheft bolts

Hey it was just an idea. In theory it will work. I understand that in some cases they will break the housings, but if that is not their intentions then they will have to remove the Hex bolts with out the proper tools. Thus slowing the thefts down , and making their chances of being seen or captured greater. It is a cheap, quick fix that may prevent the theft of someones lights. Just a idea!!! Don't be so critical.

You can do exactly the same thing by switching your HID bolts with your engine cover bolts. And it's FREE!
