Headlight Wiring Diagram
Headlight Wiring Diagram
Does anyone know where I can find a headlight diagram? I'm trying to change my socket after the old one burned out. I bought a APC aftermarket socket and it comes with blue, black, and white and I'm not sure which one it corresponds to from the Nissan OEM harnass. Any help is appreciated.

There is a reason why you cant find the diagram anywhere in this forum. As always, "if you can show some kind of verification" that you have a 5th gen Max from someone, a moderator or someone else will email you the diagram.

Rewiring your burnt harness isnt like trying to do 2k2 hids. Thats quite a bit different.
Wire colors changed somewhere between 2k and 2k1, so you shouldnt attempt it without a multitestor anyway. I can tell you this, there is power in the middle and the low and highbeams are switched ground. Contrary to there being ground and the power being switched. so.. again, they share power.. find that (+12v), then find which of the other two wires go to ground when you hit the highbeams. the one left is your low beam (-).

Thanks for the tip Tim, just had time this weekend to finally get around trying to fix the darn thing. However I'm not sure if I got the highbeams and lowbeams mixed up. I'm not sure, but when testing out with a light bulb, are the highbeams suppose to light up both the front and the back of the light bulb? Cuz for some reason when the front and back of the light bulb is lighted up it becomes not as bright as only the back being lighted up. In fact it becomes rather dim. If anyone has a wiring diagram could they please post it or send me a copy of it. Thanks.
