Alright, prove it to me with a dyno then. I had damn near every performance item beside boosting and dynoed my 2k1 auto at 184whp. I think I got at most with all my mod 17whp. So which part of my list gave the 15-20hp?

1. Ypipe
2. Testpipe
3. 2.5" mandrel bent catback
4. UDP
5. Place Racing Intake

BTW, here is the dyno, http://www.bigdogjonx.com/fullpics/d...nobaseline.jpg

If you look in the Dyno section, that is pretty much the best for a 2k-2k1 with those mods.

Wierd how the second chart shows that he dynoed with the Stillen cone and everything else stock at 179whp, and then with the Ypipe added and got only 183whp. That seem like a 4whp gain at their peak.

umm, jonx, that was torque, he gained 4 ft/lbs of peak torque. and 18 peak hp. Something doesn't sound right with your number. auto i'm assuming, but still way low. what kind of numbers were you running at the track both stock and with all bolt ons? cause with those numbers, you should be around a 15.5 in the 1/4 and that just doesn't add up...

how much do y-pipes and b-pipes cost? and would they make much difference in a 2k3 auto? i want my car to be just noticeably loud. not so that you can hear it three blocks down. does anyone have a brand to recommend on either pipes?

ypipe costs about 150-350 depending on the brand and won't add much noise as long as you have stock muffler. bpipe is about the same. the noise all depends on the muffler, keep it stock and it'll stay pretty quiet.
