at the dealer they run around $125-150 per side. your best bet would be to post on the classifieds section. i did that, and within 2 days i had 2 people either wanting to trade for my 2k3 lights, or sell for a reasonable price.

Go to the parts for sale forum and say you want to trade your clears for smoked SE tails. Then you both need to get some black sealant from your dealership and you're good to swap (IIRC).

tail lights

The cheapest new ones I've seen are here: http://www.autopartsdeal.com/catalog/?N=9252&Nr=OR(AND(make:Nissan,model:Maxima,year:20 01),AND(universal:1))&Vi=1684+11369+4294965429&y=2 001&mk=Nissan&md=Maxima
But you are well off buying from an org member as well.

Is this a joke or something? Or does this guy really need the SE tails after 6 years of failing to find a set?

No, it's not a joke; it's just newbies posting to a thread offering solutions and/or suggestions without even realizing that the date on the original thread is a few years old. It's a common ocurrence with inexperienced members around the forums.

I know it's an old thread but if anyone is looking for a set of the black SE tails I have a pair of stock Nissan SE tails with the wiring and bulbs. Direct fit into any 00-03 Maxima. PM me.
