40,000--Just been changing oil, what do I do?!?!

Allright.. So i've been slacking.... I hit 40,000 miles and all i've been doing is changing my oil with synthetic every 3000 along with all your regular fluids. I changed my tranny fluid around 27,28. I've had the damn check engine light on since 27ish.. I figured that was some factory special. I'm going to bring it in this week, I hear the brake pads starting to whistle. What else should I have them change at this time, I know fuel filter, what else?

Thanks!!

fuell filter is in actually located in the tank... They say it is not user serviceable... Up to about 60k it is mainly just oil changes and tire rotations. You got your tranny fluid done, so just do that every 30k or so. Check your coolant and you also want to bleed the brake fluid when you do your brakes.
