Why are there only like 4 body kits out for this car? 3 of them don't even really look like body kits, all they are, are some fins..Neh..The kombat/ninja body kits doesn't really look like a body kit either, it kinda looks like the front of a kia..Anyone know when some cool looking body kits are coming out?

I totally agree, the 5th gen max doesn't really have a body kit. I like the AE kit, but the front doesn't fit my 02. This isn't a flame, just my opinion. Yes, I do like the Stillen Touring Lip, just kind of aggressive for me. Why is there nothing out there for the max or Nissan for that matter, its almost like Honduh is paying for the engineering and media on all the tuner parts. Chris

 

I mean im not saying i hate the body kits, they aren't all that great looking and not worth the price that's all...I see some really aggressive ones out there, I hope nismo does something to the maxima besides the 350z n the spec v...Nissan really should open their eyes and see how big the maxima scene really is...How many of us are there? like 10 hehe

Yeah but if i owned a honda and i was looking at a site with say 10 different body kits for it...yeah there is a selection, but we all know that only one of those would be even close to nice..but i mean we could just bombard companies with emails and comments until they cater to our every whim...but i bet if Nismo comes out with anything for a maxima it would be for the 6th gen.. also known as ugliest maxima ever..

 

Well you say nismo will make a body kit for the crappygen maxima..Let's form like a petition or something and tell them to make one for the 5th gen instead! Well even if there was a selection of ten body kits I bet most of them wouldn't be fins or lips..They would be full front conversions that would be different if seen on a maxima! Even if it is that blitz kit, everyone cept nissan has tho..Well excluding the silvia and skyline...I wish nissan came up with the bright idea of making the 6gen maxima sportier instead of a spaceship..When I first saw that thing I was like well mars here I come!! I think there should be a spec r aero maxima like the silvia. It should come equipped at um i dunno 300hp, a more sleeker body, and tc..that would sell so fast! I would buy one!

 

I am so sick and tired of hearing about Nismo. The Maxima has been around 20+ years and how many Nismo products are available for it? ZERO!!!!!!!!! You think a petitition is going to get something done?

 

i didnt say it had to necessarily be to nismo...why not to any company..tell them if they designed a good body kit it would sell..just a thought...

 

when i first saw the 6gen..i thought the had redesdigned the altima again...but whatever man...those people will have less resale value then 5gens because people will reallize 5gens are so much nicer once your seeing 6gens everywhere

 

not everybody think 6th gen is the ugliest of all. I met a guy last week, he think 6th gen is awesome

 

And those are the kind of people that buy cars like the honda element...

I hear alot of bad things about C.M. from this guy who knows someone who works there. They're turbosystem was supposed to come out last yr for the 5th gen, has it even came out yet?! No...I wish more companies jumped on the maxima like they did with the 350z..Look at how many body kits are out for that already and it hasn't even been out that long! Yeah ok the 350z is a popular car and it is sportier, but so what! The maxima is just as good, look at the 4th gen, there is so much stuff out for that car now..What about the 5th gen, a few things not much. Nismo sure yeah ok I do agree that they haven't really done anything and the maxima has been fine without them, but it wouldn't be wrong if they did design a body kit or two. The 6th gen, I totally agree on the whole I think it's nice viewpoint because it's different. The 6th gen is not much different from the 03 max. When I look at the 6th gen I see a bad idea..I see a hey let's combine the 350z body style with the new altima and add some weird seating design inside! The 6th gen maxima is the result of a bad idea..This is what happens when someone comes up with a bad idea, they get something horrible. I think Nissan should've released a 04 5th gen, then with the 05 they add a new feature to the 5th gen being it is 2005. Then when the 6th gen comes out being it's 2006 they do something different. But of course who listens to the consumers? Obviously not Nissan. Nissan is debating whether to release a turbocharger for the 350z or to just have a 350z and a 350z turbocharged one. Thus givin us the fairladyz. Why not do that with the maxima? The maria (japanese maxima) was turbocharged! Why not do that with the maxima?! TRD and Honda all offer special aftermarket parts that are under warranty, hell even Saturn has SPS..What does Nissan have? Nismo, Where is Nismo?

 

im surprised the people who sell then ninja kits are still in business, i havent seen anyone post a thread of instaling this kit,
i think the best thing to go with today is obviously the stillen front touring, not saying the AE is bad in anyay

u mean i should go out and buy stillen's over priced fin kit? nah..Today when I was at my sponser's store, I saw a 02 honduh integra (rsx) body kit for 500..It was a full real body kit not a fin or lip kit..

 

Oh well, it pays to by a high end car...

 

Like the fin look....If I ever buy another Maxima... I am getting those.....
