Motegi Wheels

Does anyone have or know someone who has Motegi wheels on there Maxima ??? I am looking to put the MR7's 17inch on my Max...

Just tying to see if anyone had any problems ???

Actually, Dario is the man on this one since he did it before I

Motegi MR7 17x7 will fit fine except that the rear grease seals have to be removed. Dario had replaced his with PVC endcaps I believe.

Why not get 18's? I am beginning to wish I had...death to ALL wheel gap

Check here for pics of what a Sterling Mist 2k Max looks like with them on. Keep in mind that I also have Maxspeed lowering springs on...

Are the grease seals a problem for all wheels or just these ????

Not sure about other wheels. It has to do with the clearance inside the center hub...its just a little too small to allow the seal to fit inside...

I have the Ro_Ja Motegi's on my third gen. The axle hubs protruded a little too far for the center caps to work, so we actually ground a slight bit of material off of the end of the axle hub. I get a little rub on the front insides at full lock. We would've been better off with a 38 offset. Click my cardomain page to see them. They are the Neo 4.0's. Motegi's are made by American Racing.
