is the car shop manager blowing crap...

alright, he's telling me the reason why my car is STILL not done after two weeks of being in the shop is because the parts for the '03 max are different than '02. i'm talking the driver door, hood, bumper, front quarter panels, some other things. my question is if this is true or not. i thought that they were the same, if not very similar. thx for any help. i'm thinking that i'm gonna just nail this guy for having my car for so long...

It is the same car. The only differences between an 02 and an 03 are some different colors and option packages on the 03.

If it's just the body parts that are needed, i don't see why it would be any different from the 02's.

that's what i thought. i knew he was lying. man...i'm gonna call and yell at him now. i knew he was trying to get parts from a "used" or "junked" car. i knew it. no way it should be taking this long getting it from the factory...

Compare the part numbers from 2k2 and 2k3. Ask DAVEB if you need help. I have a 2K1 so I cant help more than that

could be true. they use your VIN to order parts. '03 may not be availible yet.

did daveb get another job yet ??
