Cigarette Lighter blowing fuse?

Now that my radar detector is gone, I have my cigarette lighter area empty and I've tried putting in my cigarette lighter. I believe, although it could be coincidence, that when I push my cigarette lighter in, to make it hot, it blows my fuse. Does anyone have a picture of their cigarette lighter? I swear if my lease agent put in a generic one that is messing it up, i'ma gonna kill him.

I just leave mine alone and ive had no problems. When I get a passport 8500 ill just wire it up direct to the car so i wont have to worry about the cig lighter, besides that looks cleaner anyway.

Actually that all depends on how mine works out, if everything goes well then why not, if my car catches on fire well then ill let u decide if u want me to do it. j/k but the install should prove to be quite entertaining to say the least.
