Has anyone had their wheels polished?
These are the rims on my car:
I had my tires rebalanced for the 4th time (wheel vibration) and noticed a bunch of scratches and scuffs on my wheel due to the carlessness of their techs (sorry no pics) and complained to the manager and he told me to pound sand since his store doesn't carry the Antera line of wheels and I had to go to a different Discount Tire that carries these down in La Jolla (another 30 miles south) and talked to the manager down there about the steering wheel vibration (fixed finally!!!) and scuffs on the wheels and gave me his district managers phone number. I called him up and told me he can have my wheels "polished" at no charge and was going to give me some steelies temporarily until the wheels came back. I finally went down there today and the steelies didn't clear the front rotors !!! So now I'm driving around with steelies in the rear and my Anteras up front. I should get the first pair back in about a week or so.
Does a polished rim look shiney? I personally don't like a shiney looking rim and was curious. Sorry for ranting....
I'll post a pic of the "polished" wheels when I get them back.

Yes, polished will look shiny. Kind of like chrome, but not as bright.
