Check Engine light
My check engine light came on at about 27000ish I figured it was just part of the car so we bring it in for service... ANd the damn thing is still on at 40000.. Think it's time to bring her in?

Did you bring the car in for service when the light went on at 27K? If not then you should have because depending on the acutal problem, you would have had an easier time having it covered under the 3-year/36K-mile warranty. If you are out of warranty for whatever the problem is, it'll probably cost about $80 just to look at it and then another $100 to $200 on top of that.
My light came on at around 27K too, so I took it to the dealer. They reprogrammed my ECU as per a technical service bulletin from Nissan regarding the 02 sensor. No problem since then, but the service guy did tell me it would have cost relatively a lot if I was out of warranty.
