swirl mark remover. It goes on and off real easy with an orbital....I'll ask my buddy who owns a detail company which is the best one...

I was absolutely HOOKED on auto detailing for the longest time. But it was getting excessive so I stopped going to autopia.. My friends and family were all starting to get concerned
Since mah man Chinkzilla spoke of the devil....
Yes, you are correct, I have been known to do some long sessions with the Maximas I have owned. Let me give you a rundown on some of the details I have done:
'94 Maxima GXE
First Klasse Application: Approximately 4-6 hrs because I clayed, wetsanded, hit it with 3M SMR, shampooed the seats, carpet, and mats....to name a few things I did.
End Result:
'02 Maxima SE
a) Washed car with Meguiar's Gold Class, Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity
b) Clayed with Clay Magic Clay Bar
c) Clayed rims with old clay bar
d) Polished exhaust tips
e) Applied Klasse All In One
f) Applied Pinnacle Souveran to top it off
g) Cleaned interior vinyl and dressed it with Lexol Vinylex
h) Washed mats with EF HI
i) Polished AE Door Sills
j) Apply Klasse Sealant Glaze to the rims
Total time: 8 hrs
Age: 34 years old at the time
Temp: 80+
End Result:
Once my 60 days is up on the bodywork, I plan to do the following:
Steps a-i with steam cleaning and shampooing seats, headliner, and carpet, Cleaning the wheelwells and the back of the rims, and cleaning the engine (I am having that done professionally), applying Klasse Sealant Glaze to the entire car and the rims.
Klasse can be purchased at the following sites:
www.klassedirect.com
www.tacscar.com (Where I got mine)
www.properautocare.com
www.autodetail.com

by professionaly...that is sometimes not so good. I used to detail cars in college...
Most of the dudes simply would spray the engine with degreaser then go to town with the pressure washer. You will be better off to buy some good degreaser, take your car to a do it yourself wash, cover the intake with plastic (saran wrap works great) and do it yourself. Also, you'll save some dough...
Also...to clean mats...spray degreaser on the mats (cut with water) and then spray them with soap then plain water at the same do it yourself wash. makes 'em smell good too...
